6. More is better: Not only is taking mega doses of vitamins potentially toxic, but it can interfere with other medications you may be taking. There have been countless cases of people who unknowingly stack up on vitamin pills that have lethal interactions with their medications.
There are good supplement companies out there, but they are few and far between. So educate yourself as much as possible before taking any supplements.

Any workout is better than no workout, so take the information in this article with a grain of salt. However, if you have the option of not working out first thing in the morning, then by all means take it.
In any case, here are 5 reasons why exercise upon rising is not good for you:
1. Your lower back is at its weakest: You see, when you wake up in the morning, your lower back is loaded with nucleus pulposus, the fluid in your spine. Thus, you are less flexibile and are at more risk of injuring yourself. If you have current low back pain, early morning exercise is absolutely prohibited.
2. You are breaking down: When you wake up, your liver does not have any carbohydrates, you are dehydrated by a couple pounds, and you are burning through muscle tissue so that your brain can survive. If you do not get enough fuel in to reverse this state, you will further break down your body.
3. You can ruin your hormonal levels for the entire day: Having breakfast is the best way to reverse the subpar hormonal profile your body has when you wake up. It all started in 1994 when congress deregulated the supplement industry. Once they opened the flood gates, the market was inundated with bogus pills and powders.
However, before you spend precious money, read about the following mistruths regarding dietary supplements for fat loss:
1. 30 grams of fish oil per day is healthy: I actually read an article by a fitness expert recommending this level of intake. In reality, this level can cause heart damage. Never have more than three grams per day. And for the best level of safety, stick with one gram.
2. Protein in supplemental form is superior: I hate to break it to you, but you are not going to enhance muscle gain or fat loss by taking protein powders. In fact, you are far better off with solid sources of protein from natural foods. Remember that slower digestion is best for both carbs and protein.
3. High dose multivitamins are healthy: Again, taking in high amounts of highly concentrated nutrients will become toxic in your system. Get your nutrition from whole food, and only supplement with extremely low dose multivitamins.
4. Vitamin D is the next best thing: It’s true that vitamin D is so powerful that it’s considered a hormone within the medical community. However, over supplementing here can lead to some disastrous consequences. Specifically, taking in mega doses of vitamin D can cause blood vessel calcification.
5. Bars are a great weight loss food: You are far better off sticking with natural food here. You see, natural food digests the slowest. Even better, there are interactions between nutrients in natural food that we still don’t understand very well. So ditch the bars and stick to whole food.
6. Caffeine accelerates fat loss: This is not true, by any stretch of the imagination. What caffeine does is increase the breakdown of fat. But once broken down, the fat still has to be transported and then burned. And the burning process is controlled by total caloric intake.
Look, the reality is that most supplements do not work. There are no tricks or magic within diet pills that will take off all the weight. The bottom line is that you are better off sticking with whole foods.

Most strep rashes develop in 12 to 48 hours after contracting it. The signs of strep throat include sore throat, pain when swallowing, swollen gland and a headache. And, a high fever around 103 degrees Fahrenheit is very common.
Strep rash is a little similar to a sunburn rash. It manifests as small red bumps usually starting on a persons chest. After that the rash can expand into a groin rash, underarm rash, and even a rash on the face or a rash on the legs. Generally any sweaty area becomes more heavily affected by what is essentially an allergic reaction to the bacteria Strep produces. This can itch too.
When the skin is pressed, the area of the rash turns white which is why some people may mistake it for sunburn. A strep rash may last about 7-10 days, but the skin itching and peeling may persist for weeks.
Scarlet fever rashes are most common in young people from the ages of 5 to 15. While its not as commonly seen modernly, sufferers will require antibiotics to clear up the strep throat. The rash will disappear alongside the infection, but the itchy skin without the rash remains. Some people use soothing natural lotions, compresses, etc. to ease that discomfort.
While most strep rashes occur due to a strep throat, it is possible for this rash to develop in response to a skin infection. This is serious and should be looked at by a physician.
Strep rash is not infectious, but strep itself is very much so.
